My name is Jason Silliker and I am a 5th generation guide who enjoys being fully engaged with the experiences that only Mother Nature can provide. I started guiding when I was 18 in Miramichi, New Brunswick for fish, black bear, deer and waterfowl, and did this full time for a few years before moving on to pursue a career that would support my family and lifestyle. Since recently semi-retiring from my professional business career, I have pivoted back towards my passion for guiding and outfitting once again. My father, grandfather, and great grandfather were all fishing guides on the famous Miramichi River in New Brunswick, Canada. In the year 2000, my late grandfather, Guy Silliker, was inducted into the Sportsman Hall of Fame at the Atlantic Salmon Museum in Doaktown, New Brunswick.
Throughout my youth I was taught the love of the outdoors and hunting. Through my skills and experiences, I have guided many friends and clients to their first harvested animal, and for many of them their largest harvested animal. I have also been fortunate enough to harvest several big game animals that many would consider a harvest of a lifetime. I firmly believe in ethical and fair chase hunting. I have been married to my wife Tracey for over 20 years and have 2 boys, Ben age 17 and Alex age 14, who both enjoy the outdoors. I look forward to the future and the next chapter of our journey. My passion and pleasure is now found in outsmarting big game and waterfowl and allowing others to do the harvest.
